Title 1: Standards and interoperability in the architectural heritage domain: from HBIM-GIS integration to semantic segmentation of point clouds

Abstract:
By adopting common data models and vocabularies, researchers and institutions can integrate diverse datasets across diverse platforms and allow semantic data enrichment to support long-term digital preservation of architectural heritage. The presentation will focus on two case studies: on one side, the MAIN10ANCE platform to support planned maintenance activities, on the other side, the class definition for the semantic annotation of heritage point clouds.

Title 2: Change Toolkit for Digital building permit: Scaling interoperable digital building permits with profiled CityGML and IFC models across European Municipalities

Abstract:
To enable true interoperability in digital building permits, it is not sufficient to merely adopt open standards, standards must also be applied consistently and meaningfully across jurisdictions. Within the European project CHEK: Change Toolkit for Digital Building Permit, we address this challenge by defining profiled data models and validation-ready workflows that enable scalable regulatory compliance checking across municipalities. This presentation highlights the CHEK methodology for developing standard-based data requirements using adapted profiles of CityGML and IFC.
