Speaker 1: Dr. Sanjay Kumar Ghosh
Title: Assessment of impact of landuse on Dengue- A Case Study of NCT India
Bio: Dr. Sanjay Kumar Ghosh is the Professor and Former Head of Department of Civil Engineering, IIT Roorkee. For his contribution in the area of Remote Sensing and GIS, he was awarded the highest award in his area “Satish Dhawan Award 2021” by the Indian Society for Remote Sensing. Further, he has been awarded “The Thomson Gold Medal for the best Engineering project”.
Speaker 2: Dr Mahbuba Nasreen
Bio: Dr Mahbuba Nasreen is the Pro Vice-Chancellor (Academic) of Bangladesh Open University and Visiting Professor at the Institute for Risk and Disaster Reduction (IRDR), University College London (UCL), UK and Regional Lead, GRRIPP South Asia. Prof Nasreen was the former Director at the Institute of Disaster Management & Vulnerability Studies at University of Dhaka, Bangladesh.
