Title 1: Intelligent geospatial health analytics

Speaker 1: Prof Dr Ashraf  Dewan

Speaker Bio: Ashraf Dewan is the Director of Research at the School of Earth and Planetary Sciences at Curtin University, Western Australia. Trained as an environmental geographer, he is a multidisciplinary researcher who applies geomatic intelligence to study climate risk, geospatial health, disaster risk reduction, and the broader urban environment. He has authored two books and published over 100 Science Citation Index papers. Ashraf has a proven ability to lead multidisciplinary research teams and has established strong connections with scientists from leading global institutes. He also serves as one of the Editors-in-Chief of Geomatica.  Recognized for his contributions to environmental science, Ashraf is ranked among the top 1% of environmental scientists by the academic platform Research.com. 

 

Title 2: Quantum Technologies and Applications in Health& Environment

Speaker 2: Prof. V.G. Prasuna, Ph D

Speaker Bio: V.G. Prasuna holds a Ph.D. in Network Security and is a Professor in the Department of CSE at Satya Institute of Technology and Management, Vizianagaram, Andhra Pradesh, India. She has expertise in AI, smart infrastructure systems, water resource management, blockchain and IoT security, fog and cloud computing, as well as technology transfer and patent facilitation. Dr. Prasuna has recently submitted research proposals exploring quantum computing applications, including AI-Enhanced Quantum Computing for Advanced Weather Forecasting and Quantum Algorithms for Intelligent Water Resource Management in Smart Cities. She has published in peer-reviewed journals, serves as a reviewer for international journals, and actively contributes to conferences on emerging technologies, with a current focus on quantum computing and AI-enabled optimization.
