This year, the 38th Asian Conference on Remote Sensing (ACRS 2017) was held in the Ashok Hotel in the green city of New Delhi, India. The conference regularly attracts various researchers, professionals, and students from all over Asia and other parts of the world. Led by AARS Student Group and supported by the ISPRS Student Consortium (ISPRS SC), various student activities were organised on the 25th of October (Day 3) of the ACRS 2017. These activities included the WEBCON 7, the Student Session and the Students’ Night.
The 38th Asian Conference on Remote Sensing (ACRS 2017) will take place during October 23-27, 2017 at New Delhi, India. ACRS-2017 will represent a major event in the long series of successful ACRS conferences. The main theme of the conference is Space Applications: Touching Human Lives. Every year, ACRS organizes the following student activities: WEBCON, Student Session, White Elephant Session and Student Night.
The ISPRS Student Consortium and Working Group V/5 are announcing this year's summer schools. Three summer schools will be organized this year: two summer schools in Latin America, and one in Asia.
The biennial GSW2017, hosted by ISPRS, which is known as "the Pulitzer in photographic measurement", will be held in Wuhan, China in September. Scholars and practitioners from a total of more than 50 countries and regions will be gathering here.
With the end of submitting the Academic papers for all workshops of ISPRS Geospatial Week 2017, the information of some keynote and invited speakers has been identified as well.
